Class locations
Our classrooms are outdoors. Learning happens in practice. That is why we take you into nature, to the slopes, the mountains, into forests, and on the water. We use various locations in Holland (Rotterdam, Zoetermeer, Haarlem, Zeeland, Harderwijk), and also in France (Guillestre, and surroundings in the Hautes Alpes) and Austria (Salzburgerland, Kaprun glacier area).
To evaluate and understand what you learned in practice, we use spaces in and around nature. There we can highlight what the relationships are. When we are studying abroad, the school provides the overnight accommodations. Depending on area, time of year, and type of activities, you may stay in an apartment, a chalet, or a tent.
AUSTRIA, SALZBURGER LAND
Several school weeks as well as your internship/work in the winter will take place in the Austrian state of Salzburg, the Salzburgerland. You will work from Kaprun, which are beautiful glacier covered mountains. It is snow secure. If there is enough snow, you will also work in other areas like Kitzbühl, Zell am See, Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Obertauern, Grossarl, Wagrain, Flachau, etc. MBO4Leisuresports cooperates with many ski and snowboard schools there.
THE NETHERLANDS, BROUWERSDAM ZEELAND
Water sports are important in the Dutch province of Zeeland. At Brouwersdam, you can windsurf on the inner side of the dam, and kitesurf on the North Sea on the outside. There are very few days without wind in Zeeland, which makes this a perfect spot for our water sports program.
FRANCE, HAUTES-ALPES
High in the French Alps, close to Switzerland and Italy, you work on your outdoor skills. You will train in rafting, climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and other activities within this beautiful environment.
